GENKI
“Fit for work” Session
Everybody
knows it's important to be fit, but trying to fit exercise time
into busy lives is tough.
As an employer you know how costly it is when an employee is off
work through stress or ill health. You know how workplace accidents
arise when staff is not functioning at their full potential.
You know how much more productive your business could be if all
your employees were 'on form'. But how do you get them to take the
exercise they need?
Well, there is a solution. Fit for Work is a program
designed to boost employees' fitness and to fit in with their work
schedules. By exercising just 45 minutes twice a week, Fit
for Work will increase their core strength, improve posture
and breathing, and boost their energy ready for the working day.
Fit for Work fits easily into the workplace - employees
exercise to relaxing music using techniques based on Fitness Pilates,
in their own office environment. It's fun, effective, delivers results
and is a great motivational tool.
How do you feel on a Monday morning when you get into work? Sluggish
with low energy, tired and listless, unmotivated…?? By doing
a Fit for Work class concentrating on posture, breathing, muscular
strength and core abdominal work you will be surprised how much
better you feel.
I
can come to your work place and provide you a FREE TASTER
at any time to suit you. You don’t even have to leave the
office/shop and it can easily be incorporated into the working day.
For more information about how to get your employees fit
for work call Yuko on 07786 58 58 00 or email mail@genkiaerodance.com
and watch your sickness and stress levels drop.
Or alternatively after work, just pop in
the GENKI Studio,
13/15 Leighcliff Building (First Floor),
Maple Avenue.

What
is a GENKI class?
Each Genki class lasts for about 50 minutes, an hour at the most.
It’s designed to provide a package of fun and fitness - you
can choose your favourite class or try all of them!
It’s basically a combination of dancing and aerobics with
the emphasis on improving your health and fitness.
In Japanese, Genki means Healthy, so regular activity of this kind
will make you feel better about yourself, enhance your cardiovascular
conditioning and, should you need to do so, it will almost certainly
help you to lose any excess body fat.
There’s
no contract - it’s ‘Pay As You Go’! It’s
only £5 per class and no more.
No joining fee, no monthly charges, no direct debit
– it couldn’t be simpler! Class sizes are about ten
in number, so to avoid disappointment, please book in advance
by phone or email.
Genkiaerodancing
This is the main activity, one in which you keep on dancing, boxing,
toning, all in one hour! The first 20 minutes is spent covering
a variety of dance routines. Worried about having two left feet?
Well don’t worry at all, this is freestyle! Just enjoy your
own funky moves.
This is then followed by aerobic kick-boxing moves for another 20
minutes.
Everybody loves this! And for the final 20 minutes you can enjoy
body conditioning and a cool down stretch.
You can choose from a variety of options depending on your desire
to make things easier or harder, just listen to your body.
You will be surprised to see how quickly one hour goes by, there
won’t be any time for clock-watching!
All you need to wear are comfortable clothes such as a T-shirt and
stretchy trousers, and trainers for protecting your feet.
AeroBoxing
This is a 50-minute class dedicated to kick-boxing, which is a non-contact
combination of Martial art, Karate and Muay Thai moves! It’s
simple enough but it can be intensive, especially if you push yourself
hard, as many want to do! It’s a challenge to your stamina,
it enables you to burn a lot of calories off, and perhaps most satisfyingly
it’s a great stress-buster! It’s a fantastic way to
keep fit, look great and have fun!
AeroTone (Easier)
Half Dancing and half Toning! An easy AeroTone is ideal for beginners
or for those wanting to resume working-out after a break of a few
weeks away from the gym.
Enjoy with easy-to-follow dance routines followed by body conditioning,
sometimes using an elasticated resistance band and sometimes using
just your body weight.
The main point is to have fun, to continue this exercise for the
benefit of your long term health! Stay healthy, stay happy and enjoy
your great looks more and more!
AeroTone
(Harder)
Half kick-boxing and half body toning, in other words AeroBoxing
with AeroTone! Let’s shape up without any complication, simple
and effective! Develop a better body!
Let's focus on your goals and your self-image during the class.
Our mission is to help you to achieve your own image and health
objectives. So let us know if you want to do some special moves
of your own.
Some people want to reduce the size of certain parts of their bodies,
some people want to change the shape of their bodies...and sometimes
it’s not a physical objective at all but more of a spiritual
one associated with reducing stress and enhancing self-esteem.
